I managed to finish this after my gold pen kind of exploded at school. It died soon after. Even soaking in acetone couldn't save it.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. I feel a little sorry for the birdie, which is the same tone as the background, and I completely missed it until I full viewed. Poor birdie. Maybe a different colour would help it pop? Unless the intention was to camoflauge it? Unfortunately, without the little birdie, the picture looks rather boring and pointless.
The technique is very good though, and the detail is well excecuted, the bird design is also very nice.
